Panelists

Brandon Thornberry, DVM

Dr. Brandon is from St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up the son of a veterinarian. From his earliest memories, he would always help his dad at his veterinary hospital.

He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. Following veterinary school, he completed a one-year medical device innovation fellowship. He spent two years as an emergency veterinarian, followed by time spent as a relief veterinarian where he practiced in twenty different hospital settings. He joined CareVet as a clinical operations veterinarian in July 2022. His medical interests include emergency medicine, oncology, and surgery.

Elizabeth Garant, Director of Clinical Operations at CareVet

Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience leading organizational and human performance initiatives, most of which involved working with veterinary practice management groups. She has been with CareVet since 2021 and works closely with veterinary teams to design and implement clinical and leadership training programs that develop people and provide exceptional care to patients and clients. Outside of work, she lives in Denver, CO with her husband and her dog, Cricket.

Emma Ehll, Chief Marketing Officer at CareVet

Emma has been with CareVet since 2019 and works with hospital teams to develop and deploy strategic marketing campaigns, communicate compelling brand stories and deliver excellent client experiences. Prior to CareVet, she worked in human healthcare and supported both B2B and B2C marketing efforts. In her free time, she is pursuing an MBA and enjoys taking her dog, Rocko, on walks in the park (his favorite pastime!).
