Dr. Kent Thornberry

Dr. Kenneth Thornberry received his DVM from the University of Missouri. He founded both general and specialty practices in St. Louis, MO. His general practice grew to a 17,000 square-foot, full service, eight doctor animal practice with boarding, daycare and grooming services. His specialty practice grew to a 24-hour emergency and critical care specialty hospital with 11 doctors and six specialties.

Dr. Thornberry continues to offer emergency surgery services and mentoring to ER doctors. In addition, he co-facilitates a second-year veterinary student course at the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine, and he is a frequent guest lecturer at veterinary colleges, the Veterinary Business Management Group (VBMA) and practitioner events across the country.

Dr. Pamelar Hale

Dr. Pam Hale has held numerous high-level leadership roles within veterinary medicine, from Chief of Staff to Chief Medical Officer. She is a highly engaged veterinary industry consultant as an operations, start up and firm building subject matter expert. She is a graduate of the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Master of Business Administration from St. George’s University. Dr. Hale is presently a Juris Master’s degree candidate (2023 graduation), enrolled with Florida State University.

Dr. Hale is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia VMA. She serves as the Dean’s Counsel for Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine and the American Veterinary Medical Association Professional Liability Insurance Trust. She joined the inaugural Wedgewood Pharmacy Advisory Board from 2022 – 2023. Dr. Hale is a member of Vet Partners and The Board of Chief Veterinary Medical Officers. Dr. Hale is a member of the CHIEF organization for women C-Suite leaders. She shares her home in Atlanta, GA, with six pups and her husband, Chuck (USAF veteran retired).
